The business has an Ethical Trade Policy which reflects the principles of The Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code and the international standards set out in the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Conventions which we issue to our suppliers at home an abroad and work to achieve and maintain within the local context of each country.
Sustainable agriculture is the efficient production of safe, high quality agricultural products, in a way that protects and improves the natural environment, the social and economic conditions of farmers, their employees and local communities, and safeguards the health and welfare of all farmed species. Angus Soft Fruits strives to produce top quality berries using sustainable methods. In addition our Scottish growers have invested in renewable energy systems, building water storage to save rain water and planting additional woodlands, hedgerows and windbreaks in order to enhance their farming practices and environments as much as possible.
