Angus Growers is the Producer Organisation from whom we source the majority of our UK fruit. Angus Growers was established and is managed by all 24 growers within the group.
Their aims are to increase sales of soft fruit by helping growers to grow more, better quality fruit and to market that fruit effectively.
We have been working closely with Angus Growers since the group was started and are pleased to say that we have formed an effective partnership that secures our UK fruit requirements.
The grower base is located primarily in Scotland, although it is currently expanding in England.
Angus Growers offers a complete service to growers, beginning with the development of cropping and labour plans based on the market requirements and grower’s business objectives.
Angus Growers in-house agronomy team procure plants, supply inputs and regularly walk crops, advising on pesticide applications.
Angus Growers QA team see grower’s fruit every day and they work to optimise their market potential.
