The Berry Bikers Raise £127,064 for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation
We are proud to share the final fundraising total from the Doddie Triple Challenge, completed by The Berry Bikers earlier this spring.
Two weeks on from finishing the challenge, the team are now home, recovered, and reflecting on an unforgettable experience. The challenge saw the group cycle an incredible 750 miles from Melrose in the Scottish Borders to Dublin, pushing themselves physically and mentally over the course of an epic week.
Thanks to the generosity and support of so many, the team raised an outstanding £127,064 for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, helping to fund vital research and support for those affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
This achievement would not have been possible without the backing of a wide network of supporters. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all sponsors for their generous contributions, as well as to everyone who donated, shared messages of encouragement, or supported the team behind the scenes throughout the challenge.
We would also like to recognise everyone who took part in the challenge itself. The commitment, energy and teamwork shown throughout the week set the tone for a hugely successful outcome.
A massive well done to The Berry Bikers — Gordon, John, Dave, Imogen, Rosie, Mark and Douglas — alongside their dedicated support team, Fiona, Lawrence, Shona and Claire, whose efforts were instrumental in keeping the challenge on track.
While the Doddie Triple Challenge has now come to a close, the impact of what has been raised will continue for years to come through the important work of My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
We hope to return to the challenge again next year and will share updates in due course. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this such a meaningful and successful fundraising effort.
