Fundraising 2020 / 2021

Since 2020 we have been supporting a number of local small charities local to each of our offices across the world.

We usually choose different charities to support each year, but with the pandemic coming into play at the beginning of 2020, making fundraising quite challenging, we decided to continue our support to Alzheimer Scotland, Ouderenfonds and Fundacion La Rosas throughout 2021 as well.

Despite the challenges that the pandemic brought with lockdowns and the many restrictions, this did not stop the Angus Team from coming together to raise funds for our much-loved charities.

Since 2020 we have held virtual walks, quizzes, fancy dress quizzes, and taken part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival (virtually!)

During the height of the pandemic, and to show our appreciation to all NHS workers, we organized delivery of over 1700 punnets of freshly picked Scottish strawberries to hospitals across Scotland. Our strawberries were enjoyed by staff and patients and we received a lovely drawing from Jessica, a patient from Edinburgh’s Royal Hospital for Sick Children to say thank you.

Through all of our fundraising events, we managed to raise a grand total of £5100, a fantastic achievement given the circumstances of the past two years. Well done to everyone involved!
