Angus strengthens its board with new appointments

Angus Soft Fruits are delighted to announce the appointment of three new directors.

Lucy Wilkins (nee Slatter) is a plant breeder having previously worked for KWS. Lucy joined Angus as Head Breeder in 2020 and has recently been promoted to Breeding Programme Director.

Alicia Mostazo is responsible for managing Angus’ Spanish operations. Alicia has been with Angus for eight years and has been promoted to Director of Angus Soft Fruits Spain.

Rob Hunter formerly of G’s Fresh, Flamingo and Bakkavor/Geest has recently joined Angus as Finance Director. Rob brings a wealth of experience in the fresh produce sector.

John Gray, Managing Director commented “I’m very proud of our team at Angus and am delighted that Alicia and Lucy, are stepping up to our board. Rob is a fantastic addition to our senior team.”

 

Lucy Wilkins – I am excited to start my new role and continue to keep innovation, research and variety development at the heart of our business. We have a fantastic team here at Angus Soft Fruits, and I am looking forward to everything we will achieve together in the future.

 

 

 

 

Alicia Mostazo – Angus Soft Fruits has been a great place to work for over eight years and I couldn’t be more excited to start my new role as Director of Angus Soft Fruits Spain. I am grateful to be a part of such an amazing team.

 

 

 

 

 

Rob Hunter – I have been fortunate enough to be given this opportunity to join Angus Soft Fruits and I am looking forward to working with the team here. I hope to bring some of the learnings from my previous experiences to the role.
