Doddies Aid Challenge

Doddies Aid Challenge

We love a challenge here at ASF and even better if we can raise funds and awareness of a cause at the same time. When we heard about Doddies Aid Challenge, we all quickly donated quite literally hit the ground running!

Doddie AID Exercise Challenge encouraged everyone to get active after the Christmas (to of course shift a pound or two), until Early February with an aim of raising £1m for MND research. The response was phenomenal with over 30,000 people taking part. During that time £1,132,463 was raised and 2,129,200 miles was clocked up! Surpassing the initial target.

We also took this opportunity to run a fun internal challenge alongside Doddies Aid, to help keep everyone motivated during what has been a long winter and to also break the monotony of life in COVID lockdown. After donating to Doddies Aid and throughout the Doddies Aid Challenge, we teamed up with our colleagues from Scotland, England, Netherlands, Spain and Chile to compete in winning the most team miles each week. Not only did it get us all motivated, but it was also a great opportunity to communicate with other members of the team that we usually wouldn’t work with.

For us, the Doddies Aid Exercise Challenge not only helped us to get more motivated, raise funds and awareness for an incredible cause, it also brought our team much closer together whilst we got fitter.
