Contract: Fixed term for 6 months with the possibility to become permanent

Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 32 hours over 4 days

About the Role:

We are recruiting for Machine Operators to ensure efficient daily operation of machines including Pro Seal, BBC Blueberry Grader, Unitec Grader and the Robots on our production lines to pack soft fruit such as strawberries, blueberries and raspberries according to customer specification. The post holder will also be required to work closely with the maintenance team to ensure any maintenance issues cause minimum disruption, responsible for smooth tool changeovers and setting up packaging materials. In addition, the post holder will ensure their team members are trained appropriately and will be suitably motivated to meet KPIs.

About you: 

You will have proven experience of packhouse production and be able to develop and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships. With the ability to prioritise own and others’ workload, effective verbal and written communication skills in a multilingual environment, you will also be a team player.
