At Angus Soft Fruits, we are passionate about promoting a high standard of ethical and environmental trade practices across our farming and packaging operations in the UK and overseas.
We are delighted to announce that during the summer period, our growers in Scotland have been using lighter punnets from Waddington Europe, which weigh up to 10% less than our previous punnets. This transition will reduce our plastic use by around 47 tonnes per year… which is the same weight as approximately 70 dairy cows! The punnets are also 100% recyclable once any pads are removed.
